Ncy Activist Ryan Carson stabbed to death infront of girlfriend
On Monday at 4 am Ryan Carson and his girlfriend were seen on surveillance video sitting at the bus stop on Malcolm X Boulevard in Bedford- Stuyvesant the pair had just left a wedding. 18-year-old Brian Dowling walked past the pair without making contact. Dowling is later seen angrily kicking over moped scooters that were aligned near the sidewalk. A minute later Carson and his girlfriend stood up and walked towards the direction Dowling was. Dowling turns around at shouts at Carson “ What are the fuck are you looking at”. Dowling starts getting in Carson’s face. Carson gets in between his girlfriend and Dowling Carson is heard telling Dowling “ Chill, Chill, Chill”. Dowling at one point slaps Carson in the face and Carson being to push Dowling away from him. Dowling is heard saying “ I’m going to kill you”. Dowling pulls out a knife from his sweater and swings it at Carson.Carson tries to run away from Dowling but trips over the bus bench and falls to the ground Dowling begins to stab Carson 3 times one piercing his heart. Dowling later kicks Carson in the chest Carson’s girlfriend tries to bend down and aid Carson but Dowling comes back and yells at her and spits in her face he later walks off. A woman who is believed to be Dowling sister is caught on surveillance video walking up to Carson and his girlfriend and apologizing for what happened she was heard saying the name Brian.Thursday morning Police would identify Brian Dowling as the person who attacked Carson.
