I Flew On Australia’s Worst Airline — Here’s My Honest Review

I had previously flown with the Australian flag carrier dozens of times and enjoyed every single flight. However, Qantas has recently been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. For example, lost luggage, canceled flights, and the shocking resignation of its CEO. I arrived at Sydney Airport a few hours before my flight. After I walked through the door, I was amazed at how easy it was to drop off my luggage. The entire process took less than two minutes, and I was able to scan my boarding pass, print bag tags, and place my suitcase on a conveyor belt with ease.

Clearing airport security was a breeze. Unlike my prior experiences with TSA officers in the US, I didn’t have to deal with yelling or screaming, nor was I required to remove liquids or electronics from my backpack. The terminal had an abundance of natural light flooding through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The sunshine cast a warm glow on everything it touched, and I appreciated the simple beauty of a blue sky. After all, the sunny weather made it easier to go plane-spotting and watch the flurry of activity on the runway. And, before I knew it, it was time to board my flight.
