How to Build Self-Discipline
Have you ever made a bunch of big plans for yourself at night, but when the morning comes you find yourself hitting that snooze button?
I’ve found this happening to me more times than I can count, so I knew I needed to learn the skill of self-discipline.
Almost everyone struggles with self-discipline. It’s seriously hard to learn this skill. Trust me.
Many things like productivity, happiness, and success start with having discipline.
It might be hard to believe this when you’re trapped in that bubble of comfortability, but studies have shown that these traits are linked to self-discipline.
A major reason for this is because when we have self-control and discipline we accomplish more of the goals that are truly important to us.
Whenever you have to do something that sucks, just tell yourself that this is self-love.
For example, deciding to eat at home instead of going through fast food is discipline but also self-love.
You have to love yourself to be happy and to be happy you need self-love, and discipline equals self-love.
