A Fresh Walk And The Beautiful Palms Teach Us Life Lessons
This week I went to get some fresh invigorating air at Lodi Gardens. I have been a little under the weather and was asked to go out and chill and spend some time with myself with less time on computers. This meant missing out on Medium for a few days but was good for my health so I decided to take my evening walks further from my home and to interesting parks.Lodi Gardens is historic and it operated from the time of the British Raj. It was built by them and it is open and beautiful.A walk over there freshens you up. Lodi Garden, a landscaped park, was designed in 1936. There are 500-year-old buildings from the time of the Sayyid, Lodi, and Mughal dynasties.
It is in the heart of New Delhi city located on Lodi Road between Safdurjung’s Tomb and Khan Market in south Delhi. It has an area of 90 acres with beautiful monuments and tombs. When I went for a walk, I saw that it had become a very popular place with joggers and walkers around. Some people were having a little picnic and love birds and young couples were having a great time. What I enjoyed most was older couples holding hands and whispering sweet nothings to each other. There were some walkers who were walking and had music on their phones and headsets. There were walkers like me who were enjoying nature without any earphones or other people around.I enjoyed the undulating walking paths and jogging tracks.
