African News Reporting on Israel & Palestine Just As One Sided As Western Media
It’s disgusting to read the news in over 35 African countries and see them ignore their own African neighbors when reporting on world news. The Rwanda Times news paper never misses a change to aim propaganda towards the DRCongo. Besides that most of the news is either late, negative or missing.However news of Palestine and the murders of Palestinians is rarely reported in African media. I’m trying to be kind, I’ve never seen or read it in all my time reading and writing about news in African countries.Kenyans are hitting social media platforms hard, with the pray for Israel posts. Some even calling them a Christian God fearing nation. This tells you a lot about their media and their president. William Ruto and his wife Rachael recently took a trip to Israel, they were seeking to create a relationship with the country. In all truth President William Ruto has been running to every country and any leader that will have him. He’s seeking investment in Kenya, hoping to pay down the large debts that Kenya has amassed over the years. He’s even going to ask China to give them a leeway on the billion dollars Kenya owes to China. During their trip to Israel they prayed and posted photos of them praying at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. This might be why some think that a Christian president praying in a country meant that the country was also Christian.This is exhausting, I can’t even continue to write about it or see another social media post lying about the things that have been happening to Palestinians.
