For those that watch cricket, matches in the beginning took five days. Now we have T10 cricket. Television has become immensely popular, shorter episodes being more digestible. The world praises the succinct and the compact. The same extends to books.
Gone is the age of thousand-page epics. These days novels range anywhere from two to four hundred pages. Short stories and novellas remain extremely popular. However, the following novels are anything but short. They are lengthy and voluminous, like in days past.
