Reflection Posts Pt. 2: A Glimpse of Passion at the Tender Age of 16
Continuing on in my series of Reflection Posts, this ThinkPiece is about my time in High School, where I produced articles for the School’s newspaper — Circa 2016.
Back when I was in High School, Fall Semester of 2016 to be exact, I registered for an Honors Newspaper class. And honestly, I cannot remember why. Maybe it was my conscience telling me that I needed to follow my passion and write, who knows? Nonetheless, it was an interesting setup. The objective of the class was to produce at least 3–4 articles a month with hopes of said articles being published in the newspaper. This newspaper was digital and made available via the School’s main website. The topics of these articles were pretty flexible in the sense that as long as it was educational, productive, or involved the school, it had a good chance of being published. The school even provided each student with Google Chromebook’s to efficiently and effectively create content.
